Plan for the first five years of network activities:The network collaboration will be organised in relation to the following
three activities: 2. A homepage with information about the network 3. Publication of a number of papers per year As the network includes participants from Island and Finland, the network language will be English. The working papers will thus also contribute to make the Nordic research on the history and aesthetics of photography more visible internationally. The annual seminar will be held in Norway, Denmark and Sweden and will progress as presentations of papers and discussion groups. Two or three internationally renowned scholars will be invited to each seminar as guest speakers and workshop inspirators: both Nordic and international capacities that have worked specifically with, or can illuminate the topic of the seminar. Each seminar will have a topic. The first seminar will serve as a mapping of the status of the Nordic photohistorical research and historiography. The second will focus on actual theoretical perspectives, and the third will be a presentation of individual research projects. 4.
